As Lance & I hiked our way down to the water, I spotted a moth. Looking closer though a Spider had it's legs tangled around it's head, and was dragging the poor thing to his dinner table... :(

Rainbow

An absolutely amazingly brilliant rainbow over the Salt Lake Valley. We were driving on the highway and this is the best shot I got!

Moab Camping Trip

This past weekend Lance & I joined some friends we've made here in SLC on a camping trip to southern Utah - Moab. It was heaps of fun, and we hiked in Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. The camping was good, except we forgot our tent poles and can't find then now, so we had to share with Leigh for both nights... The breakfasts were my favorite - from Sousage, to lots of Bacon (Cooked Ilse style) and yummy scrambled eggs.

Keeping up with traditions from Ilse's home in South Africa. We painted real egg shells and later filled them with candy :).

My Canon Digital Camera Starter Kit

With some help from the Poschman's I've gone ahead and invested in a digital SLR Canon Camera and elaborate starter kit. With everything from lenses, extra batteries, tri-pods, sd-cards, etc. I am so excited to learn how to take great pictures! You'll be sure to see some soon!!!
