My short visit to SLC

A whirlwind trip to Salt Lake City again to scout me future home, etc. On Friday I drove to Denver, before Flying out to SLC, and then returned on Sunday again. I stayed with Lance and his Parents in Cottonwood Height.

Up Little Cottonwood Canyon, Lance took me for a Tram ride on Snowbird Ski Mountain, before we went for a dip at the Rustler Lodge pool.

On Saturday evening Lance took me on a romantic date to the Silver Fork Restaurant up Big Cottonwood Canyon, and then we stopped at a lake, where we saw a Moose, my first one ever!!!

I found a car!
It is a Mazda Tribute, 2002 Model AWD with a mere 45,ooo miles on it. It drives sooooo great, and I'm working on getting a loan to buy it right now. I do hope it all works out, so that I have my own transportation again instead of constantly renting a car whenever I'm meeting up with Lance or want to go somewhere...

The State Capitol Building in Salt Lake City. It is gorgeous, and has tributes to Mormon's everywhere...

I just like this cloud...

Hiking Lost Man Trail

8.8 Miles. 5 Hours Uphill. Lost Man Trail.
It was exhausting, exhilarating, and gratisfying :)

At the Summit looking at Lost Man Lake, and then turning around we are at the Summit looking at Independence Lake

Camping at Lost Man

Alyson and I camped out on Saturday night up Independence Pass, at Lost Man Campground.
We had a blast, with chips and dip and some Mojito's while playing cards.
We actually slept quite well too, about 10 hours.

Bryce National Park

BRYCE NATIONAL PARK IN UTAH, USA.

Lance and I with his parents Lee and Shirley Wilson at Bryce Point

Cedar City, UT - Shakespearean Festival

In cedar City, Utah at the Shakespearean Festival I met Lance and his Parents for a wonderful weekend of plays. We first saw "Fiddler on the Roof" which was AMAZING, and then stopped to see a performance on the grass called the Green Play - Super Fun. Then we headed to the theater again to see "The Taming of the Shrew", which was a bit modernized and different, but still quite amazing. For both plays we had Box seats.

Cuddling the Shakespeare & a model built after the first theater in England.

During our stay there, Lance and I visited the Iron Mission State Park Museum. That is us in the Carriage on the right :)

Taking a walk through the park to visit merchants, all dressed in mid-evil outfits. Here I'm spinning on a 250 year old spinning wheel, and even got to keep the string.

I had a blast. Ate way to much, but fun times indeed!
