Fall Colors at the Maroon Bells

I got out of bed really early this morning to capture the sunrise and morning light over the Maroon Bells. Here are some of my favorite Pictures.

Who knew that at 06:45 there would be so many people taking pictures

I just received a wonderful gift from Marianne Lueders-Koneke, my very first Au Pair Family in Germany 10 Years ago... Boy, time sure flies fast!

The package was filled with a lovely Calender for 2009, Marzipan Chocolate, and a cookbook "German Baking Today, Dr. Oetker"

The Card reads:
Familie Koeneke + Oma's + Opa's"

Danke Marianne, Ich Schaetze das Geschenk, und unsere Freundschaft sehr!

Moving on to the Reception. Mexican Food & Beer :)

The first Dance, which followed with the Dollar dance (Everybody who wanted to dance with either the bride or groom, had to pin on a Dollar before doing so.) Then is was time for the bouquet and Garter toss. A little later it was cake time, Mmmmm.
