NOW THIS WAS A FUN DAY!!! I SPENT IT AT A TRAINING WORKSHOP WITH THE OOEY GOOEY LADY. SHE TAUGHT US LOTS OF NEW IDEAS TO USE FOR PLAY AND ART TIME AS WELL AS SOME AMAZINGLY IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES.
BELOW ARE SOME OF THE STUFF WE DID WITH IDEAS TO DO AT HOME.

RENEE AND I HAVING SOME SHAVING CREAM FUN...

BAKING SODA AND VINEGAR

Put baking soda in a pie tin... drop vinegar on top of the baking soda. Carbon Dioxide is made - WOW!!!

When you add dish soap, you extend the reaction time.

SHAVING CREAM AND BLOCK BUILDING.

Put some small blocks on the table along with some craft sticks and a can or two of shaving cream.

COFFEE FILTER ART

Simply drop some water colors on a coffee filter.

PAINTING WITH A FLY SWATTER...

Some fun Painting Tools...
Combs, Fly swatters, Hats with Brushes, Massage Tools, Kitchen Brushes, add a flashlight.
Another good one is to tape w regular paint brushes together.

CLEAN MUD :)

Grate 3 Bars of Ivory Soap. In a bowl mix the soap, q roll of toilet paper and some warm water... I will form a consistency of mashed potatoes!

PLUNGER ART...

Who would have thought... Use a (new, unused) plunger, dip it in paint and just see what you can create.

GLUE AND ADD FUN THINGS.

A great way to use odds you find everywhere, and use everyday!!! Simply pour some glue on a paper plate to create wonderful 3-D art.

DROP THE BALL...

Use a Nylon bag filled with pop corn (un-popped off course), place it in some paint and them drop it on paper.
It looks so cool!

ZIP LOCK BAGS...

Things to put in them are:
Hair Gel, Corn Starch (with Glitter), Crisco, Shaving Cream (and Color), ...

MAGNETIC MARBLE ART.

Mix magnetic marbles on the top a a paper plate, with different colors. Use the magnetic stick at the bottom to move the marbles around, and see what you can create!!

SHAVING CREAM AND WATER
Fill a clear large container with water. On top of the water put shaving cream. Drip drop primary colors into the shaving cream... when the two mix on top the secondary colors changes the water below...

BUBBLE WRAP ART

Paint the bubble wrap different colors, before placing a piece of paper over it. Suddenly you'll have an entire page of wonderful dot art.

SHAVING CREAM AND COLORS.

I Love this! Simply spray shaving cream on the table top (a cover on it off course) and add water colors over it with a dropper. Place a piece of paper over it and squish it!!! scrape off the shaving cream, and you have a wonderful, colorful creation of art.

BABY OIL & WATER

Start with about 2lbs. of flour and one 20 oz. bottle of baby oil...Soft & Creamy.

Equal parts of Cornstarch & Water

GLUE AND SHAVING CREAM WITH A DASH OF COLOR.

Pour 2 cups of Glue in a tub, allow the children to add shaving cream to the glue. Add some color if you want and then squish it all around :)
