My ER Visit

Well I had quite a day yesterday... Following peculiar spots on my leg, I decided to - without hesitation - go to see a doctor about it. No doctor's work on the weekend, so I had to got to the ER, where Alyson's previous host dad was the physician on duty.

The prognosis - CELLULITIS.

This is an infection of the tissue under the skin. It is caused by bacteria that enters the body through cuts or sores. If it is not treated the bacteria may enter the blood stream and cause blood poisoning.

Thank goodness I listened to my instinct and got this looked at. Now I'm on two different antibiotics treatments, but the "spots" already look sooooo much better. I'm just glad the diagnosis was right, and that I got the medication for it fast.
