LANCE & ILSE ARE ENGAGED

ON TUESDAY - AUGUST 19, 2008 - AT THE MAYAN RUIN - XINUNTANICH, IN BELIZE, LANCE PROPOSED!

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, WITH OUR TOUR GUIDE THERE TO TAKE PICTURES.

FROM THE FIRST TIME WE MET, ON DECEMBER 15, 2007, WE KNEW WE BOTH COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT EACH OTHER, WE HAD FOUND TRUE LOVE. IT HAS BEEN A LONG HARD ROAD, BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH WE LIVE 400 MILES APART FROM EACH OTHER, OUR RELATIONSHIP HAS GROWN SO DEEPLY.

LANCE I LOVE YOU!!!

"LET'S TAKE A PICTURE TOGETHER"

"ARE YOU PROPOSING?"

"OH MY GOODNESS..."

"YES!!!"

"I AM BLOWN AWAY WITH SURPRISE!"

BIG HUG!!!

"WE'RE ENGAGED!"

"CAN WE BE ANY MORE HAPPIER?"

A KISS TO SEAL THE DEAL :)

THE RING - DESIGNED & CUSTOM MADE BY LANCE, WITH THREE PRINCESS CUT DIAMONDS FROM SOUTH AFRICA, SET IN WHITE GOLD. AND AN ENGRAVING ON THE INSIDE THAT READS: "EIN FUR IMMER" (FOREVER ONE)

:)

Hatching Sea Turtles

Just after our second snorkeling expedition, we came back to the island's beach and saw these baby turtles just hatching, and heading to the water. It was simply amazing to see!

There were at least 50 or so, scrambling to a new life in the Carribean Sea.
