Yup, first day in Belize, and I am in bed with an eye problem...It is Monday morning now, and we just returned form the optometrist, where the prognosis is an eye infection. He gave me some antibiotic eye drops, and $43 later, we were on our way again.
Our hostess came with us to make sure we were charged right, and she knew the doctor :). Then she took us around, and showed us more of the city. Pictures will follow later.
