A perfect day for a nice hike again, so up early, I headed to the American Lake trail.The stats of the trail are:
Length - 3.2 miles one-way (10.5 km round trip)
Difficult!!!
Starting Elevation: 9,400 Feet (2,865 m)
Ending Elevation: 11,365 Feet (3,463 m)
It took me 2:15 hours UPHILL to the lake, and coming back was just 1:15 hours.
I loved it! Recommended for everybody!!

And then off course it rained... I was soaking wet by the time I finished the hike, time for some rooibos tee and a shower!
